Our backyard was a disaster, grass was not growing due to grub damage. The landscape was bumpy and rough. There really was no clean design to the entire backyard.

We found Collaroy Landscapes after doing a Google search. I have to express how happy I am with their services. Iva and Sam were very friendly, hardworking and they delivered exactly what they promised.

Collaroy Landscapes pulled up our old grass, graded the yard and put down new sod. They created flagstone path from our driveway to our deck. Collaroy Landscapes created a huge curved flower bed along the entire length of our yard and put mulch down. (All Looks beautiful!) Sam coached us through the process of watering the new sod. I stuck with his tips and the grass looks beautiful, now after 2 months.

We finally have our dream backyard. My wife and I are very happy and we will use DeSimone for future projects!

We wanted to send a great big thank you for your terrific work in our back yard. You made the entire process a pleasant experience. From Iva and Sam's first visit to their last (this spring to see how the plants fared through the winter) we’ve been quite pleased.

They listened to our ideas for the space, took into consideration our desire for good butterfly perennials and bird trees, and returned with multiple sketches of options that we eventually combined into a final drawing. Their expertise in gardening was evident by the great variety of plants they suggested for different growing conditions and the overall design of the garden. They also broke down their prices for each component so that we could easily pick and choose our priorities or plan to do the work in phases. And, all of this occurred before we signed a contract or were asked for any payment.

During the project, Collaroy Landscapes followed the best construction practices, and incorporated many details that we couldn't find in other contractors’ work. The team was very conscientious about their work and even cleaned up each night. Whenever we had questions or concerns Iva and Sam took as much time to talk as we needed and always made us feel welcome to ask.

We spoke with several landscaping firms before selecting one. None offered the same combination of creative design ideas and great value.
